We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the high quality of our software systems across both the frontend and backend. You will play a key role in designing and executing test strategies, validating third-party integrations, and improving overall platform performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure backend systems' reliability and performance through rigorous API testing, including both functional and non-functional aspects
- Own and drive the end-to-end user experience quality across web and backend platforms
- Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases across multiple browsers and platforms
- Actively support software development and IT teams by thoroughly testing new features and providing actionable feedback
- Collaborate in the design of test strategies, including detailed API and integration testing approaches
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems, document findings, and work with relevant teams to ensure timely resolutions. Provide ongoing suggestions for software quality improvements and test process optimization
- Investigate, document, and help resolve issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders
- Continuously suggest improvements to software quality and test processes
Requirements:
- Proficient in handling complex integration scenarios involving third-party APIs, internal tools, and data synchronization. Able to define test strategies and collaborate across teams to validate dependencies, data flows and performance across all touchpoints
- Strong skills in API testing, including the ability to create API requests and review API documentation
- Experience testing integrations, databases, and backend systems
- Hands-on experience testing modern web applications, preferably built with React, PHP, Go, or similar technologies
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, SQL, and system design fundamentals
- Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases for both frontend UI and backend services
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written Business English
Nice to Have:
- Experience with automation tools and scripting for regression and performance testing
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and cross-team collaboration in agile environments
