Senior Analytics Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into clean, analytics-ready datasets and power Tableau dashboards using AWS Athena and Delta Lake data.

This role bridges data engineering and business intelligence, ensuring data models are performant, consistent, and aligned with business KPIs. You will be responsible for developing high-quality analytics in Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement analytics-ready data models (fact/dimension, semantic layers);
  
• Define and standardize business metrics and KPIs;
  
• Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets for reporting;
  
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics use cases;
  
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models;
  
• Ensure consistency between data warehouse and dashboard logic;
  
• Support and guide Tableau development:
  
• Data source design;
  
• Performance optimization;
  
• Implement data quality checks at the analytics layer;
  
• Document business logic, KPIs, and data definitions.
  

Requirements:

• 6–7+ years of experience in analytics engineering / BI / data analytics;
  
• Experience working with AWS data stack:
  
• Athena, Glue Catalog, Delta Lake;
  
• Advanced SQL skills (must-have);
  
• Experience supporting BI tools (Tableau – must-have);
  
• Strong experience with data modeling for analytics;
  
• Experience working with modern data warehouses:
  
• Snowflake / Redshift / BigQuery;
  
• Strong understanding of business metrics (financial, marketing, operational);
  
• Ability to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions;
  
• English: Upper Intermediate or higher.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Delta Tables;
  
• Experience with dbt (highly preferred);
  
• Experience with multi-entity / multi-source data environments;
  
• Familiarity with marketing analytics and attribution;
  
• Experience working with incomplete or inconsistent datasets;
  
• Exposure to data governance and metric standardization.
