We are seeking a Middle/Senior NLP Specialist to develop and optimise text-processing, document intelligence, and NLP services for ProVision, with a focus on Python, document parsing, information extraction, search/retrieval, and LLM-powered workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Integrate LLMs into product workflows with a focus on reliability, performance, and guardrails;
- Develop and optimise NLP and document-processing pipelines;
- Build data pipelines for training and evaluation using PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and S3;
- Optimise model serving and inference in AWS;
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to deliver AI-driven features;
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, and compliance requirements;
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an NLP Engineer, ML Engineer with an NLP focus, or Back-End Engineer with significant NLP experience in a production environment;
- Strong Python 3.10+ skills;
- Experience with NLP libraries/frameworks for text processing, entity extraction, embeddings, or semantic search;
- Experience working with document-heavy or unstructured text data;
- Experience with asynchronous processing and AWS, particularly ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and SQS/SNS;
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum;
- Experience evaluating and improving text extraction, classification, or retrieval pipelines;
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills;
- English B2+ for daily communication.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch;
- Experience with LLM applications, including prompting, RAG, embeddings, and model orchestration;
- Familiarity with spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face, sentence-transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools;
- Experience with PDF, Word, and OCR/text extraction pipelines;
- Experience with .NET;
- Experience working with legal, financial, or other professional documents.
