We are building a compliance platform for mortgage and protection advisers in the UK. The product is regulated, the team is lean, and the work is hands-on. We use Jira, Confluence, Slack, and GitHub. Ceremony is intentionally light, but the regulatory outputs are real and non-negotiable.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who is comfortable in this kind of environment - someone who can hold their own with developers, engage meaningfully with business users and advisers, and ask the right questions without waiting to be told what they should be asking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
What we're looking for:
- Solid mid-level PM experience, ideally in a technical or regulated environment;
- Someone who is not afraid to challenge the team, ask difficult questions, or push back when something does not make sense;
- Clear, confident communication - both in writing and in conversation;
- Comfort with ambiguity and with a process that is still maturing;
- Some exposure to fintech, financial services, or compliance-adjacent products would be a plus, but it is not a hard requirement.
What you'll be doing:
- Working across the team to keep delivery moving in a Kanban flow;
- Owning the regulatory and compliance outputs that sit within the PM function;
- Engaging with internal users and mortgage advisers to understand needs and feed them back into the product;
- Refining and improving a process that is still taking shape - and contributing to that improvement;
- Collaborating closely with the CTO and a small development team on a greenfield build.
